BROWN RICE PUDDING
3 cups Water (for cooking)
2 Organic Apples – cleaned, cored, peeled and chopped
1 Organic Banana – sliced
3⁄4 cup of steamed Organic Brown Rice (cool)
Dash of Organic Cinnamon
Put water in large pot over high heat. Insert metal steamer tray. Add Apple and cinnamon and steam until soft enough to insert a fork easily. (about 5 minutes)
Add Banana on top and steam for a few more minutes.
Place steamed mixture and brown rice into a food processor with ½ cup of reserved water (from steaming). Blend until smooth, adding more water as needed until desired consistency is reached.
Once prepared, refrigerate your homemade baby food within 2 hours and use within 24 hours. For later use, store the puree in the freezer in airtight containers portioned into individual serving sizes and use within one week.
