GREEK YOGURT, POMEGRANATE, APPLE & BEET
3 cups Water
1 Organic Beet- cleaned, chopped
1 Organic Apple- cleaned, chopped
1 Organic Pear – cleaned, chopped
1/2-Cup Organic Pomegranate Juice
1-Cup Organic Greek Yogurt
Put water in large pot over high heat. Insert metal steamer tray. Add beet, apple, and pear and steam until soft enough to insert a fork easily. (about 9 minutes)
Transfer steamed mixture to food processor. Add pomegranate juice and Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth, adding more water as needed until desired consistency is reached.
Once prepared, refrigerate your homemade baby food within 2 hours and use within 24 hours. For later use, store the puree in the freezer in airtight containers portioned into individual serving sizes and use within one week.
